We've sat on a waiting list for just over two years, finally we've been offered an allotment. It's a little half size plot, just right for us, but boy does it need work. I was going to join a gym but with the amount of digging needed I don't think I'll bother!We grow a few vegetables and fruit in our back garden, I have no idea how this 'allotment plan' will work out, but the little Berries seem excited. They have their own little areas that we've managed to clear, so far they've found a lizard, mouse, frog, spiders, worms...you get the idea. Muddy wellies are ESSENTIAL. Wish us luck....
